If you put on glasses with blue lenses, everything you see is going to be blue.
We all put on a certain lens for everything and everyone we see.
If you put on a "hate" lens every time you see someone, then you are not going to like anything about that person.
If you put on a "love" lens every time you see someone, then you're going to love everything about that person along with every little thing they do.
This concept can be applied to many things.
Whether it's hate or love, there should be a way to pop out the lenses.
So that we can see things more clearly.
But it almost seems like that'd make things rather boring..
Just something I was thinking about,

Simply Friends With the Wave
You're a wave that sweeps all my friends off their feet.
The current is too strong for them and their progress is mostly backwards.
Somehow I'm not out there with all of them, though.
The water looks mighty fine, but I know it's too much for me, personally.
I find myself safely on the shore, watching as all my friends drown, one after another.
I try to save some of them, but I usually fail.
Some of them find their own way back to dry land.
Then they sit their for a while and wonder what must have possessed them to go swimming so far out.
Sometimes I wade, but I never let it go above my knees.
I can't really blame anyone for wanting to swim out farther, but at the same time, it seems so unwise.
I just don't understand why all my friends think they can withstand the force of a such strong wave.
And such a young wave.
At least wait till it breaks the shore.
